International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme Information Night January 26

Sacred Heart Catholic School in Guelph will be hosting an International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme Information Night on Thursday, January 26 from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. for families and students entering Kindergarten and Grades 1-8.

Sacred Heart Catholic School in Guelph has been certified as the only local public provider of the Primary Years Programme, and only the second in Ontario. For children in Kindergarten to age 12, the Primary Years Programme nurtures and develops young students as caring, active participants in a lifelong journey of learning by offering an inquiry-based curriculum framework that builds conceptual understanding. The program has evolved to become a world leader in future-focused education, recognized as an example of best educational practice globally, responding to the challenges and opportunities facing young students in our rapidly changing world. As well, the Primary Years Programme provides education that promotes critical thinking skills and allows elementary students to begin their French studies in Kindergarten. Please note, that limited space is available, and registrations must be completed by February 3 to be considered for this program.

Join us on Thursday, January 26 at 6:30-7:30 p.m. to have a tour of the school and get to know some of the elements of the PYP.
